Apocalypse Approaches is a fast-paced top-down roguelike where time controls your health, magic, and currency. Battle through procedurally generated dungeons and defeat enemies to regain lost time. Upgrade your weapon, cast powerful spells, and survive as the clock constantly ticks down.
Roles: Producer, Lead Narrative Designer, and Lead Writer
On this six-person team, long term project, Evelyn is the producer, and she created and managed
the Trello board for the team as well as written up timelines for short term sprints and long-term
development. She has also managed google docs and sheets for timelines and team hours spent
on the project. As Narrative Designer she has … and as Lead Writer she wrote the intro dialogue
between the knight and seer and is writing future dialogue and choices to be implemented into
the full version of the game.
Archimancer

This is a 2D puzzle game where you play as the Great Archimancer, a world renown wizard
architect who specializes in home design! You are tasked with configuring layouts of rooms for
various clients in this fantasy realm.
Role: Puzzle Designer
This game was made for the 2025 Triangle Game Jam with a four-person team. It won the award
Best Game Mechanics in the jam. It also won the 2025 Game of the Year (Jam) and the 2025
Best Game Mechanic Award from the Video Game Development Club 2025 end of year awards.
Pario’s Planetary Promenade

Pario’s Planetary Promenade is an educational video game targeted towards middle schoolers to teach them about the solar system by taking them on an exciting adventure exploring the Sun and the planets in the solar system!
Pario is a rover who starts out on Earth and journeys to the other planets and to the sun. Help him fill out his journal about the planets he explores by navigating the tough terrain, scanning rocks, and answering questions.
Roles: Producer, Level Designer, Writer
Pario’s Planetary Promenade is a four person, semester long project, made in Kodu Game Lab
for the First Year Engineering Design Day through E 101 at North Carolina State University.
Evelyn set up the timeline for the team for their weekly meetings to meet the milestones and
final project completion. She wrote a document that outlined what needed to get done before
each meeting, what was to be done and discussed during each meeting, and what was to be done
after the meeting for ongoing development. She was also instrumental with working with the
other three team members for dividing up the work on the project and making sure even knew
exactly what they were doing and were happy with how the project was going. She designed,
wrote the dialogue/facts/questions for, and implemented the levels of Earth, The Sun, Venus, and
Jupiter.
Sign or Die

Sign or Die is a puzzle platformer where the player controls a mouse-pointer stick figure to platform across wacky forms in order to fill them out with help from a set of cryptic notes. Along the way, the player will have to deal with more complex forms and finding new tools, such as a pen for virtual signatures.
The taxpayer is held in place by the new tax application they were trying out, thinking they would finally get some relief from not being able to figure out things like the number of coffee mugs used per year tax or the dragon watcher’s mutual fund calculations. Will this poor soul be able to fill out the forms and be released from the tax application’s grasp?
Roles: Producer, Artist, Writer, and Concept
This nine-person project was created for the Video Game Development Club’s 2024 Spring Game Jam.

Academic Weapons is a puzzle game where the main character is a sleep-deprived college
student who must explore and escape a whimsically haunted library. In this mysterious
place, some doors and elevators are locked unless the player collects all the haunted books in
book carts, some rooms have lost power, and there are ghosts wandering the halls!
Role: Puzzle and Mechanics Designer
This was a three-person team project through the class CSC 281, Foundations of Interactive
Game Design at North Carolina State University. On this project I designed levels through
PuzzleScript and contributed to the overall mechanics and progression in the game.
Encore
Encore is a 2D environmental horror puzzle game where you play as the Magician who traverses a strange theatre world in order to save a ballerina performer from the clutches of an overseeing Maestro. Explore the world of Encore and learn more about the Ballerina while solving puzzles and sneaking past enemies.
Roles: Level Designer, Narrative Designer
Encore was a fifteen person team and long-term project that was completed in March, 2025.
